Tabor Research Report Resizes HPC Market

Tabor Research, a research group focused on providing independent market research and consulting advisory services for the High Productivity Computing (HPC) industry, has announced that it has completed its first “Buyer Views” demand-side research study as a component of its InterSect360 market advisory service. A first for the HPC industry, the purpose of the demand-side research is to create a more complete picture of the total HPC market.
“Before now, sizing of the HPC market always focused exclusively on the amount of server revenue. Now we know how much of the industry was getting left out,” said Addison Snell, vice president and general manager of Tabor Research. “Based on this new research, we believe servers comprise only about 35 percent of all spending on HPC products and services.” Full Story
