In this photo, we see an eight node IB graphics cluster demo, split between the Sunand Intel booths and connected by Intel® ConnectsCables (ICC). Applications running on this cluster showvisualization of very large seismic volumes and MCADmodels, scaled with the number of GPUs. GPU computing demo, highlighting Nvidia’s new Tesla products and Sun Fire servers, both in high-density form factor, to accelerate molecular dynamics simulation withvisualization running on Solaris on a high-performance Sun Fire server with nVidia Quadro Plex graphics.Sun Shared Visualization software provides clients in the Sun, Intel, and Mellanox booths access to 3D-accelerated applications running on this central resource.
