TACC Ranger in Production

As reported on Marc Hamilton’s blog, Ranger, the first Sun Constellation System to go into full user production, is now fully up and running at the Texas Advanced Computing Center:
“Take a look at the NSF TeraGrid User Portal and click on the “Resources” tab to view a live system monitor of the NSF Teragrid resources. With 62976 CPU cores, 504 peak TFlops, 123 TBytes memory, and 1730 TBytes disk, Ranger provides more CPU, memory, and disk resources to NSF TeraGrid users than all other 18 TeraGrid systems!” Full Story
