NYC Seminar: HPC in Financial Services Industry, July 23

Please join Sun Microsystems and Acumem for an informative seminar on High Performance Computing for the Financial Services Industry in New York City on July 23, 2008. The following topics will be presented:
* Multi-core Software tuning – Prof. Hagersten, CTO Acumem
A discussion of the above topic is not complete however without addressing the software scaling issues around multicore and multiprocessor systems. Professor Erik Hagersten, CTO and founder of Acumem will personally present a detailed view of performance bottlenecks created by MultiCore Systems and Acumem’s unique approach to solving these problems. Erik will describe specific examples of successes in the financial sector.
