About Rich
FlexRex began his life as a cartoon character I created a Sun Microsystems. As the world's first "fictional blogger," he appeared in numerous parody films that made fun of the whole work-from-home thing. Somewhere along the line, the Sun IT department adopted FlexRex as their spokesman in a half-dozen security awareness films for employees. So when I left Sun recently, I started FlexRex Communications, a Marketing company in Portland, Oregon.

Pity, couldn’t read it, didn’t have the plugin, seems to be a windows media or something. Hopefully a version we can all view will show up. I’m still using Solaris Sparc, haven’t managed to transition to Windows yet, can’t bring myself to abandon Sun workstation just yet.

  2. This video is embedded in a web page that includes the slides. However, it may not be viewable on all systems and browsers. It seems to be native to Microsoft Internet Explorer, and not Firefox. It may work on MacOSX Safari.
The slides have been posted to the OpenMP website, http://openmp.org/

Sorry for the trouble. Wonky video format has been converted to flash so more of you can see it.
